R. Brian Thoma, MD

Dr. Brian Thoma is double board-certified in Pain Medicine and Anesthesiology. He has extensive experience with ultrasound-guided procedures and has been performing EVLA (Endovenous Laser Ablation) in patients from all over Alabama for over 10 years.

Vicki Blackwell, PA

Vicki Blackwell is a native of Birmingham, Al and a 1995 graduate of the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science from the Physician Assistant Program. Upon graduation, she practiced in Cardiac, Thoracic, and Vascular Surgery for 13 years.

Over the last decade, Vicki has focused in the area of Venous Disease of the lower extremities. It is rewarding to diagnose and treat patients with venous disease because it helps restore them to a better quality of life while improving the overall appearance of their legs. Patients are excited to see the results after vein treatment procedures and the reduction of unsightly varicose and spider veins. Additionally, she diagnosis and treats patients with Lymphedema of the legs. Vicki is credentialed as a Registered Phlebology Sonographer and performs Venous Ultrasound exams of the lower extremities.

Vicki is excited to be a part of Restore Vein and Wellness and bring a vascular expertise to the management of leg pain. She believes this experience will offer a holistic approach to an already comprehensive plan of care. Vicki enjoys spending time with her family and traveling.
